These poems reflect stories written by Robert Rogers. He is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel that has experienced war, personal challenges and lots of fun times. Those experiences are reflected in the 13 poems he has written. He has a Master’s degree in Speech and has been awarded a number of Army decorations including a Silver Star for his combat role in Vietnam. About the Author
A Vietnam Infantry officer. Spent 21 years in the U.S army. Grew up in an impoverished environment in Oklahoma and California. A Batchler’s degree from the University of California and a master’s degree in Speech from Northern Illinois. Reside in a small community, Leavenworth, Kansas about 31 miles northwest of Kansas City.
