Interview with Evalyn Linah Author of The Only Star The Chosen Light- interview

Evalyn Linah is a children’s author, illustrator and classical singer. She was born in the Philippines and grew up in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Evalyn studied classical music throughout her childhood and went on to receive a full scholarship to study music in college. She received much success with her first EP album entitled Pop Opera by Lisa Marie Pizana. The single You’ll Never Walk Alone by Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel charted number three on Japans classical iTunes for six consecutive weeks beating out Mariah Carey and Luciano Pavarotti’s classical single. After tragedy struck her family Evalyn began writing and illustrated children’s books. The Only Star, The Chosen Light is her first picture book. Her children’s literature highlights the importance of self confidence, friendship and courage.
